How the figures are built
- Sources: published salary data and my own conversations with people in the seats, by role, market and sector.
- Sample size: every row states n, the number of data points behind it, and its source. Rows with fewer than 3 data points are not published.
- Basis: base pay stated separately from housing, transport, flights and bonus, in the currency of the market.
- Dating: every table carries a data-as-of date and is refreshed monthly.
The first published figures follow the first month of data. Until then, a pay benchmark for your seat gives you the number directly.
